Whatnot seller analytics does not show your profit

What Seller Analytics actually is

Whatnot seller analytics is the Overview and Shows view inside Seller Hub on the web. You pick a timeframe and see sales, orders, buyers, viewers, and time streamed. The Shows tab lists each show from the last 30 days. It is the right place to see if the room grew.

Whatnot is clear about the limits. The numbers are estimates. They usually update a day or two later. Private shows are left out of the Shows tab. And they tell you not to use those earnings for taxes. The statement and the ledger are the money. Analytics is the picture.

The three numbers it cannot have

Profit. Whatnot knows the sale and its own fees. It does not know what you paid for the item. A show that looks strong in Seller Hub can be thin once the box cost is on it.

The hour that paid. Viewers spike when you run a giveaway or catch a raid. Orders are a different clock. Analytics will show you the room. It will not separate the minute people watched from the minute people spent.

The buyer who comes back. You can see a buyer count. You cannot see, while you are live, that the person who spent $600 last week is winning again. That list lives in your order history, not on the analytics chart.

What to use instead for the money

Use Seller Analytics for viewers, follows, and whether the show held a room. Use the weekly orders report, or a fees pass, for what you kept. Commission is on the item price. Processing is 2.9% plus 30 cents on what the buyer paid. Then subtract what you paid for the item.

If you only check analytics, you will keep buying for the gross. The sellers who last are the ones who can say which hour and which ten buyers produced the profit.

NxtSale is for that second job. Cost stays on the item, so profit shows up with the sale, and the same log can tell you the hour and the buyer. Seller Hub still does the platform view. It was not built to know your books.

Questions sellers ask

Where do I open Whatnot seller analytics?

Seller Hub on whatnot.com, then Analytics. It is a web view. The app is not the full report.

Why do analytics and my statement not match?

Whatnot says analytics earnings are estimates. Statements, the ledger, and your 1099 are the numbers that count for money and tax.

Does it update during the show?

The main Seller Analytics report usually lags by a day or two. Some sellers see a separate live panel, and that is still a test, not profit.

Can it tell me my best buyers?

It can tell you how many buyers you had. Ranking who spent, and knowing when they are in the room, takes your order history.
